Generally we recommend a combination of both cloud backups and local ‘bare-metal’ (full-system / disaster recovery) backups. Some clients need more or less. Our premium backup service includes cloud-based disaster recovery, and will soon include the ability to boot to a copy of your server in the cloud in the event of disaster.

Preventative Care

Generally we recommend quarterly maintenance, but this can vary depending on how the computer is being used. Our maintenance visits are typically 1 hour per computer. They keep things running efficiently and help prevent costly problems.


Business clients may complete a credit application to be billed monthly. Otherwise payment is expected at the time of service.
At this time CyberDoc operates solely on a time and materials basis. We believe this saves our clients' money and ensures the best service. However we are continuing to expand our subscription services which enhance our ability to serve clients.
Clients located outside a certain radius (for example, Bay Area clients outside of Oakland and Berkeley) have a trip charge. Additionally, all clients have a 1 hour minimum for a site visit, and San Francisco clients have a 2 hour minimum. Remote support has a 15 minute minimum and no trip charge.
